Laem Sing Beach

Phuket Beaches - West

An outstandingly beautiful beach, where waves crash against huge granite rocks and the compact beach is popular with expats. The only damper on the whole scene is an unexplainable and inescapable parking fee up on the main road, the first at any beach on Phuket.

The Burmese attacked Phuket in 1785. Captain Francis Light, a British East India Company captain passing by the island, sent word to the local administration that he had observed Burmese forces preparing to attack.
